Ceramic Pro Paint Protection Film is built with a nano-ceramic infused top layer — the same nanotechnology behind Ceramic Pro's coatings — so the film is hydrophobic and self-cleaning the day it goes on. Water sheets off, road grime doesn't stick, and wash time drops dramatically.
XPEL Ultimate Plus is a quality bare film. To get comparable hydrophobic performance, you add XPEL's Fusion Plus ceramic on top — typically another $499–$799 on a front-end package. One caveat straight from XPEL's own policy: applying a ceramic coating other than XPEL's Fusion over the film voids the film warranty. If you already have a favorite coating brand, that matters.

Miss an inspection and it doesn't vanish — it converts to a 12-year warranty from the date of your last inspection. Yellowing happens when a film's topcoat or adhesive oxidizes under UV exposure.
